One Voice advocating Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services

Advocacy Statement

Florida Partners in Crisis speaks with one voice on behalf of a diverse and broad-based membership from communities across the state.

Our advocacy goals focus on building a strong, adequately funded, community-based system of care that will assure people with mental illnesses and addiction disorders get appropriate and effective treatment.

Policy priorities are identified by our members, researched by staff and members and refined through open discussion.

The policy positions we support are:

  • Statewide in impact
  • Factual and timely
  • Represent the consensus of our members
